The Tsuki Usagi Jyubako is a super wide black lunchbox bearing a distinctive traditional look with a capacity of 2.6 L (2600 mL, 87.92 oz).
A jyubako (重箱 , literally "stacked boxes") is a type of large bento that is made up of nested boxes stacked one atop another. Consisting of two airtight compartments, this bento is covered with a semi-transparent lid.
The cover of the Tsuki Usagi Jyubako is black and covered with two rabbits running in the moonlight, among some golden, pink and white cherry blossoms. The word tsuki月, means "moon" in Japanese, while usagi (兎) is the word "rabbit".
The shape of jyubako bento is inspired from the petals of the sakura flower (cherry blossoms) and is particularly alluring to lovers of Japanese culture!
Included within the top compartment of the Tsuki Usagi Jyubako are 5 small removable containers that you may use to partition and better separate your food.
